For over 15 years, I have collaborated with clients to design and create weird, wonderful, and highly structural projects across every imaginable scale.

As a qualified carpenter backed by a trusted team of specialists, I specialise in bridging the gap between an imaginative design concept and practical reality. Sometimes it’s confusing to know if you need a trade, a builder, an engineer, a building designer, a joiner, or a fabricator. I'm here to clear up that confusion.

From the smallest details to the largest challenges

I thrive on unique briefs and complex structural challenges. Over the years, my work has taken me into some incredibly diverse spaces:

• Clever residential spaces: Designing custom daybeds that perfectly fit awkward window sills (complete with hidden suitcase storage and custom-matched upholstery). Altering chimneys into reading nooks. Creating lit-up staircases with integrated electronics that double as clothes storage for kids' bedrooms.

• Community and play: Playground works and early years including large, robust, Dr. Seuss-inspired little free library for a daycare— complete with child-height viewing windows and a structure engineered strong enough for climbing.

• Complex engineering: Designing and delivering the new floor of an actual castle, engineer certified to give it the perfect "bounce" for a live dance venue. Creating integrated stairs with a fireman’s pole to allow safe travel for elevated areas.

• Specialist and medical: Engineering multi-functional patient bays for ambulances during COVID-19. Crafting detailed miniature dioramas integrated directly into the heavy structural steelwork of mental health hospitals.

• Civic and utility: Designing and fabricating custom beach storage options for Council and the Police. Developing advanced accessibility solutions for Changing Places accredited bathrooms. Signage, security and public lighting for various venues and areas.
